This early stage of the process is casual and flexible to your schedule.
Some clients initially contact us as they are planning budgets, others contact us when they are ready to start shooting.

We’ll brainstorm and outline your documentary.
The pre production phase is where we bounce ideas back and forth with you until we have a concrete idea of what the final documentary will be.
During pre-production we will plan the shooting schedule and logistics for the rest of the project to make sure everything runs smoothly.
At the end of this phase, you will have a good idea of what your documentary will look like.
The shooting phase is typically the fastest part of the process.
Everything we do before this point is to prepare for the shoot.
Everything we do afterwards is to finesse what we recorded.
Our Emmy award winning crew will shoot your documentary in 1080p HD video. BoxedDOCS has a full production studio and equipment arsenal of HD cameras, lighting, sound and support equipment.
The editing phase of the the process is divided into three parts.
First, we produce a rough cut of the video and submit it to you via DVD or through our secure client website.
Second, we make any editing changes to the video as you request. We then submit the video to you again for final tweaking.
Finally, we output the video to you as a 1080p HD video, DVD, and web-ready format.
Your finished video is ready to be shown at this point. You can upload it to your website, show it on DVD or HD as an outreach and promotional tool.
You can also upload it for free to YouTube, Vimeo or a myriad of other free video hosting sites which allow you to embed your video almost anywhere and broadcast to anyone in the world with a computer.
BoxedDOCS can also work directly with you to establish a full distribution model for your project including web hosting, email campaigns, DVD duplication and more.
